BestTech, an XR·AI-based educational technology company, announced on the 1st that it has been newly selected as a Military Service Designated Company (Industrial Skills Personnel) for 2026 by the Seoul Regional Military Manpower Administration.

With this designation, BestTech will obtain the authority to manage the assignment and service of industrial skills personnel starting in 2026, enabling the company to secure technical talent more effectively and accelerate its business expansion.

The Seoul Regional Military Manpower Administration reviews and designates new companies every year in accordance with the regulations for managing professional research personnel and industrial skills personnel. BestTech was evaluated to have received high scores in key areas, including technological competitiveness, growth potential, employment stability, and capability to operate industrial skills personnel.

Through this selection, BestTech is now eligible to assign industrial skills personnel in both the manufacturing/production and information processing fields.

In the manufacturing/production field, assignment is possible without additional certifications, allowing personnel to be deployed in XR device production/operation and immersive education equipment setup.

In the information processing field, IT-related majors or at least two years of practical experience are required; however, those with an Industrial Engineer Information Processing certificate (or higher) are eligible regardless of major.

The service period is 23 months.

The Military Manpower Administration will separately announce the 2026 personnel quota (TO) for newly designated companies at the end of December. Within the assigned quota, BestTech plans to actively recruit young professionals for core roles such as AI developers, XR engineers, 3D content designers, and DevOps/server infrastructure engineers.

CEO Woo-Seung Seo stated, “This designation as a military service partner company is a meaningful achievement that confirms BestTech’s technological capability and growth potential at a national level,” adding, “We will further accelerate the development of our AI-based XR education platform and create an environment where young talents can grow their skills in a stable and structured way.”

BestTech currently offers more than 80 products and solutions, including the AI-based multiple-intelligence test ‘AI-MIT,’ the K-education XR platform ‘EduSpace,’ the web-based 3D authoring tool ‘3D Studio Tool,’ and zSpace-based immersive XR content. The company continues to expand its XR·AI integrated education platform business across Korea, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. /csjung@sedaily.com
