Best Tech Co., Ltd. (CEO Wooseung Seo), a creative convergence technology company, announced on the 28th that it recently visited the International Centre for Higher Education Innovation under the auspices of UNESCO (UNESCO-ICHEI), located in Shenzhen, China.

UNESCO-ICHEI is a UNESCO Category II centre focusing on advancing innovation and capacity building in global higher education. It works with universities around the world—especially in developing countries—to implement a range of online education programs and Smart Classroom initiatives.

During this visit, Best Tech began discussions to contribute its AI- and XR-based education programs to the International Institute of Online Education (IIOE), a global online learning platform operated by UNESCO-ICHEI.

IIOE connects educational institutions, professionals, and industry partners across countries, promoting the sharing and utilization of digital and interdisciplinary educational content. It plays a key role in supporting the digital transformation and capability enhancement of higher education systems in developing nations.

In addition to potential engagement through IIOE, Best Tech is also exploring opportunities to collaborate on UNESCO-ICHEI’s Smart Classroom initiatives. These projects aim to build digital education infrastructure in local regions and help students and teachers easily access immersive learning technologies—ultimately contributing to reducing the education gap.

Best Tech is particularly focused on enabling remote and blended learning environments through XR and 3D content, as well as AI-powered solutions, to ensure learners have access to high-quality educational experiences anytime, anywhere.
